It seems there are new servos that are 3S voltage capable. Some flight controllers (FBL units) have taken notice of this and are making their flight controllers able to tolerate up to 16V input voltage. I believe the Spirit units are able to tolerate 3S input voltage, but I cannot find the specs. What Spirit flight controllers are able to tolerate 3S LiPo input voltage? |

So it seems the current Spirit units without integrated Jeti receivers (µSpirit, Spirit 2, and Spirit GT) can handle up to 15V, so 3S (12.6V) should be just fine. However, the Spirit units with integrated Jeti receivers (RS and GTR) can only handle up to 10V, so this must be a limitation imposed by Jeti hardware. How about the original Spirit and the Spirit Pro units? What is the maximum voltage they can handle? |

It is written at the main page here: https://spirit-system.com/features.php and also in each product description in our eshop. Our Spirit units have support for servos like this from around 2009. This apply also for Spirit Pro. |

If I understand you correctly, Spirit has supported 3S LiPo voltage almost 14 years before Mikado. To me that means that Spirit has future proofed its hardware way ahead of the competition by over a decade. That is a great feat that should be acknowledged. |
