Yes, as I said in the previous post, you can change it by changing Spoolup rate.
This parameter also affect bailout speed when hold is activated and then deactivated in short time.
With Fast spoolup option it will be faster. Our governor is working little bit differently thus does not require such timing settings.
We don't want to change the timing settings. We just want to understand what the behavior is. The vague answers are not giving a good feeling that bailout behaves the way we expect. Please tell us exactly how it works.
Specifically, is the following scenario supported, and how do we configure radio?
Spirit Setup:
* governor mode = "Electric"
*
No bank switching1. set throttle hold on
2. power up helicopter and prepare for takeoff
3. set collective stick for slight negative pitch
4. throttle hold off, wait for heli to spool up slowly
5. fly
6. throttle hold on, begin auto rotation
7. OH NO!!! can't land, throttle hold off
8. gov should recover head speed as fast as possible without breaking gears
9. go around and try again without landing
10. throttle hold on, begin 2nd auto rotation
11. successfully land auto rotation
12. YEAH!!! lets do another one, throttle hold off, head spools up slowly since it's no longer emergency
13, goto step 5
Note there is
no bank switching to change mode from "electric" and "electric (fast spoolup)". Heli is in "Electric" mode the entire time.
