Hi guys i would like to try the gov but am a little unsure on the voltage going in to the pit port. I am running a castle ice lite 50 using internal gov at the moment but going to try the spirit gov. I am using the internal bec at 5v please could someone explain how i conect this to my spirit. Am i right in thinking that if i connect the rpm sensor to the rudder port minus the signal wire and connect the signal wire to the pit pin i am good to go. Or do i need to put a step down on the signal rpm wire going to the pit pin? Hope i made myself clear thanks guys

Hi,

we have tested that with HobbyWing RPM sensor you can use 3.3 - 8.4V without any problem as power supply for the sensor.

Thanks does this mean i can just connect the signal wire from the rpm sensor to the pit pin and then connect the pos and negative of the rpm sensor to the rudder port

Yes, it should work fine as we tested it.

We have updated the manual right now.

Hey,

which pin do i connect the signal wire to? The one that is shown on the picture (middle one) or the facing towards inside of the unit (the one for the signal).

In the Spirit ELE/PIT/AIL port, the RPM signal should go to the middle pin.

Thank you both.

I know the picture in manual shows the middle pin, but i was kinda worried, because on all other pins, the signal is the one facing toward the unit, and normally all + and - are connected, so i was afraid i'd conect signal to +, and you know where that leads
