I'm setting up my trex 600 and was testing rescue on the bench when I noticed the light on both of my sat's went out and I lost control for a second until the lights came back on. The spirit unit never blinked or reset. I am using a life battery to power the unit and servos. Not sure what would cause this. Any thoughts. Thanks

Hello,
I am afraid but the battery is not able to handle such current spikes so voltage is dropping under 3V. I recommend to try BEC tester, helicopter should pass this test.
You can solve the problem with different battery or adding sufficient capacitor, approx. 4700uF - 10000uF.
