The tuning guide says that rudder delay can be 0 for "ultra fast servos". This isn't very precise. Is 0.032 sec/60 fast enough 0 delay?
I think the guide should be changed to reference specific speeds instead of vague descriptions.

There is just problem that it can't be explicitly described, because even if servos are rated for the same speed they can behave differently. But I believe we can specify it more.
You can try value of 0. It shouldn't be higher than 5.

Specifically my tail servo is a BK Servo DS-7005HV on a Compass 6HV Ultimate.

Another question would be, how should you expect your heli to respond to know your delay is too low?

With slower tail servos you will get tail oscillations and overshoot during agressive stops when Rudder Delay is too low. So Rudder Delay is working like a smoothing parameter and is doing servo to respond "faster" with our algorithms. On the other hand if the value is too high you can get oscillations with fast servos too (mostly in fast forward flight).
