My mate just put his spirit on a logo 550 he feels the tail is mushy so we increased the aggression on stops, no better, we then increased the gain not much better but now goes into a fast wag while flying backwards inverted, it also appears to let go a lot during funnels. Is there a guide to setting up the tail and what slider changes what?

Hi, yes you can find lot of info on helifreak and in manual in troubleshooting section. Be sure there is piro consistency around 180 - for logo necessary. Increasing rudder dynamic and gain too much is not correct. Also be sure rudder mechanic is configered as described in Mikado manual.
What tail servo is installed? If Futaba BLS piro consistency should be around 190-200

For this servo I can recommend piro consistency to 180-185, rudder delay 5. If it will not work, then the problem will be rather in mechanical setup (servo horn/tail center) or mechanical issue.
