All my helicopter is ok.
But I turn on and take off.
After at 5-10cm from the ground i push hold and i land.
never had any problems.
during the initial setup (on the table to check the correct setup) the swashplate always tends to go in line.
During the flight in the air the swashplate you have to behave differently?

As I explained previously this is one of the difference that makes flight performance for Spirit unique.
It is quite easy to change the behavior but you will loose big benefits. We could add parameter to enable this behavior but we do not recommend it.

Thanks Tomas-

I certainly would not want to make a change that would have the swash returning to center on its own in the air... just trying to figure out if there is a way to make it better sense ground condition on a gas machine without stopping the engine.

I just had a thought - would flipping and releasing the rescue switch with the blades stopped reset the swash to neutral? If yes I could easily do that. I.e. any time I landed an auto and suspect its not level.. wait for blades to stop then blip and release rescue switch once before spool up.

thoughts?

There are 2 modes
ground mode
flight mode
on the ground he doesn't perceive vibrations and inputs and the swashplate back linear.
fligh mode holds position
if you take off you fly and after land and turn off No problem.
but if you land and after take off again it could happen what you said.
but if you wait a little that the blades stop you shouldn't have any problems.
Sincerely I once on the ground I turn off the engine and I don't have these problems.
But I understand that trying the autorotations you have to land and take off many times.
Also need to understand why certain models they have this behavior and certain models they don't have this behavior.
What does it depend on?why they don't all behave the same behavior?
on the ground anyway I avoid keeping the model turned on, vibrations resonances they stress the mechanics of the helicopter.
only during the first tests I landed I waited until the blades stopped and then I take off again and I remember which has never happened to me.
But I had the blades stopped, I'm not turning it on again the engine if the blades haven't stopped.
Maybe it could depend that you you didn't stop the blades properly before taking off again

Yes, Rescue or Stabilisation triggering just for a few miliseconds should set swashplate to the center.

Please note we make your request possible in next firmware update. So swashplate will return to the center always after adjusting new parameter for this purpose.

Hi everybody,

for me the same. I fly Miniatureaircraft Whiplash Gasser and try Spirit, years ago.
It was not working for me with the same swash result. That's why i finally swtich to spartan gyro.
Which worked perfect.
But i love the receiver integration and use Spirit since the first time in electric helis.

Is the knew paramater, the one for gassser?

Signal processing
This parameter is used for operation on models with extreme vibrations that can't be eliminated in any way. It should increase precision of the Rescue/Stabilisation/GeoLink modes if default settings are not satisfying. For example if Rescue or Stabilisation has a tilt upon engaging even after a basic maneuvers, please enable this parameter.

So i like to try it again.

Thank you
