My Spirit Wi-Fi Link is now in AP-Client mode. If my PC and Android are connected to the home network AP they can access the Spirit-Link web interface. Both PC and mobile phone can connect to the Spirit-Link Wi-Fi AP directly.
However, when I connect directly to the Spirit my PC can access the Sprit Wi-Fi web server, but the mobile phone cannot. I bought it for the ability of the phone to connect when not at home.
Any ideas?
At this point I would like to just set it back to AP mode to see if that will allow it to work from the phone. When I try to set it back to AP mode I get an error from the Spirit Wi-Fi Link.
How do you reset the Spirit Wi-Fi Link back to the factory default settings? The man page does not cover this situation where one needs to set the Wi-fi Link back to AP mode, but it throws an error.
Figured it out. My phone didn't like connecting to the Spirit Wi-fi Link over an open link. Once I set a password on the Spirit Link and assigned an AP security protocol, it started working.
Still don't know how to set the Spirit Wi-Fi Link back to AP mode from AP+Client mode though. It is no longer necessary for me since it is working. But I am curious what the procedure is if the software throws an error.
