Hi dear community,

I'm not sure whether there is already a topic about my problem, nor do I know what to look for.

So I'm going to take the risk of starting a new thread.
The following problem requires your expertise and experience:

I have a Spirit 2 in my Specter 700 V1, which I have finally got set up the way I like it.
But when I do flips over nick, they go slower than backwards.

With nick forward, the helicopter is very sluggish around the lateral axis, whereas with nick backwards (pulled) it turns very willingly and agilely.
The deflections (dual rate) in the transmitter are all set symmetrically to +-100%.

What am I doing wrong or which parameter do I need to tweak?

The rest is unobtrusive and was easy to set up (directly via the Jeti DC24 V2).

If anyone knows anything, I would be very grateful.
The Specter is - in my opinion - simply an awesome piece of kit..

Have a nice evening!
Greetings Till

Hello,

the problem could be too small Cyclic Ring value.
Make sure your model has at least +/- 10° throw for cyclic, this is as important as checking your collective pitch range.
Next problem could be too high Rotation Rate. If it is too high, your model will likely rotate faster.

It could feel sluggish on elevator, because elevator axis is much heavier and your servos have to overcome bigger force.

Uploading your settings file and setup info would be helpful if you wish to help more.

The rotor blades also have a major influence. I have a Specter 700 V1 and also have the problem that it reacts very sluggish. With the RotorTech Ultimate 715 and 1900 rpm it is much better because the center of gravity of the blades is further inwards.
Could you tell more about your setup parameters?
Konrad
