Hi,
I have ALZRC x360 but like in many other helis there are tail bottom braces (picture below) - carbon rods which support the main tail boom.
Unfortunatelly, the rods are bloking the view for the laser in geolink v2 - even if you mount the module out of symetry plane. Another solution would be moving the module back - closer to tail rotor but it breaks the center of gravity.

Do you have any ideas how to mount the module without blocking the laser?

Thanks!

If it was me I wouldn't warry so much about CG. I fly with different packs different weights to be exact 50 grams (a lot on nose side) and I don't see or feel difference. Spirit will take care of this minor imbalance ;). Move unit towards the back of your heli and go fly live out of it.

I created a support
you can edit the file to fit your needs
I used tinkercad is one software free online.
Move the geolink to have a clear view It's not a problem I've also used it on models with supports and you have to move it until in the geolink tab laser reading is done well

Hello,

GeoLink will work also with Laser covered. Performance could be different only when model is roughly 1m and less.
Soon we will release new version that will allow to select which sensors will be used.

but apply hot glue in this mode it's wrong?
I read in the manual which is where the pressure is read

https://manual.spirit-system.com/index.php?title=GeoLink_Mounting
""Warning.png Do not cover GeoLink connector with any tape, glue or paint. Opening above the connector is used to determine ambient pressure and altitude.""
