No gear -> no ratio -> 1

Ask the Goosky support.

Hello,

Try this.
WITHOUT BLADES
You open the Governor/Throttle settings window.
You disable the Governor (on the top right on the window), you enter a sensing divider (2, 3, 4 ...), then you see the rpm returned il the RPM sensor window (Current rpm).
If this is in correlation with the kV and the LiPo cells, then you have the number of poles (sensing divider X2).
BUT you don't care about the number of poles because you juste want to have the correct rpm returned ...

If the rpm returned are too low, then you decrease the sensing divider.
If it's too high, then you increase the sensing divider.

Normally you should know roughly the rpm of your helicopter ...

When you have the correct sensing divider, then you enable the Governor on the top right on the window.

well that worked like a charm. I set the ratio to 1 and keep increasing or decreasing the divider until the actual head speed matched what the spirit was saying. got the head speed with my tacometer and adjusted the divider. and it was right at 20 for the divider

If you don't have a tach you can use Spirit's vibration Spectrum Analyser to find the vibration level of the main rotor, which will tell you the actual RPMs, then adjust.
