It happens that I have accidentally programmed the wrong RTH point, which is far away from my airfield, for example when I fly at another airfield. In this case, I suggest that the starting point is automatically taken as the RTH point. This can be done by a simple distance check immediately after take-off. This would increase safety. It makes no sense for the helicopter to cover several kilometers during RTH. Konrad

I wouldn't post this suggestion if it didn't happen that the RTH point is set incorrectly. If I always set the point correctly, it is of course not a problem, but people make mistakes. I'm certainly not the only one. My suggestion is a feature to make flying safer. I know the instructions VERY WELL. A link to the manual doesn't really help.
I have been using the GeoLink for a long time. At the beginning I always programmed the mode that RTH point is always the starting point. That was safe on the one hand. On the other hand, the starting point is only a few meters from the pilot's location. With RTH, the helicopter appears to hover directly above the pilot. Therefore, I now set the RTH point at a safe distance of at least 30 meters from the pilot.

That is great idea. It will be implemented.
