I just installed a new GT unit on my newly assembled 550X today, and all is well except for two issues:

1. I cannot get the receiver to work in DSM/X mode
2. It is seemingly bypassing the governor in the unit.

I set and bound my 4651T receiver in DSM2/X using the accessory Spirit cable, but I got no response on any channels in this mode. I am only able to use this receiver in SRXL2 mode. What extra is needed to use it in DSMX, or is SXRL redundant? Is it necessary? I'm confused about this, and I've consulted the manual several times.

I have my Hobbywing Platinum 150A v5 set to "Helicopter (Linear Throttle)" in the Spirit; I have the governor set to yes/on. I put the throttle frequency to 120Hz - is this correct? I cannot find an exact setting for the v5s, but I can for the v4s. I set the throttle range to 1100μs to 1940μs as recommended. My Xnova Lightning 4025-1120KV has eight poles, so the sensing divider is 4, and the gearing (16 pinion, 112 spur) is 7:1. I set "Max. Head Speed" to 2600, and I want to use 2000, 2300, and 2400 as my head speeds in each flight mode. I put "Normal" to 77% (theoretically 2000/2600 = 77%), but in the telemetry it went higher to 2400 rpm.

What setting am I missing here?

Not sure about the gov issue, but the receiver is SRXL2 protocol so use it at that.....

Will do. When I bind it still shows that DSMX is enabled. I need to learn about these protocols.
