Hi everyone,

Question regarding Jeti integration

I have Jeti DS-14II with Spirit RS installed and working properly in my Heli after using setup wizard. However, even though I have up to date firmware in Transmitter V5.07 and Spirit unit V3.5, I'm showing an error message displayed on the Transmitter Spirit menu in this form: "Spirit.bin file update required"! I have checked my TX system information which appears ok and contacted Esprit Model and was advised to contact Spirit personnel. Anyone, have this issue or know how to correct this? As, I stated the helicopter is functioning well and ready for first flight.

Hi, you need to update the bin file from the Spirit website.
Jeti does not have current bin files in its Jetistudio when updating the transmitter.
Download them to your PC, unzip them and copy them to the SD card in the Devices directory

I have already performed the update to my transmitter with the newest Spirit bin file V 3.5 successfully to to the devices folder. My firmware is showing V3.5 However, the message still remains.

Did you do this?
Download them to your PC, unzip them and copy them to the SD card in the Devices directory

Update via Jetibox installs an older version of the bin file.

Unfortunately it means that your old file was not actually updated. If it will be updated correctly (BIN files replaced for new), then it will work with 100% certainty.

Ok, I will remove previous download as it may have been corrupted and perform the Spirit bin file upload again. Perhaps, this is why I'm reading an error to the Spirit bin update. Thanks!

Success! My previous attempt had the files just sitting in devices and once I moved all three to its destination file the error message disappeared. The video provided by Habasek really helped a lot thank you!!

Hi there,

I picked up this thread to find help but it's still showing an error message.

I deleted the old file from my devices folder in my Jeti DC-14 and copied the attached file as replacement. As the error persists, is this the correct file? If not how are we supposed to find the correct file rather than guessing from an existing thread?

Hello,

yes, these are correct files.
Unfortunately the often problem is the files are placed in a wrong directory or are named incorrectly.
Can you take a screenshot of your SD Card - Devices directory?

When you will delete SPIRIT.BIN file the integration must stop working completely. Then you can load the new one.
