Hi

I'm currently setting up my Kraken 580. Everything is done so far and with basic settings. So swash plate and servos are well configured. Also rotation rate etc. are configured. Also Governor is holding pretty well.

However I have some troubles with the Heck. Heck Servos is GDW G55

I've followed the following steps so far:
  • Start Helicopter with desired RPM
  • Hovering and slowly increasing GAIN till heck starts to oscillate
  • Reduce Gain, till it is stable again
At this point the Heck is holding like a charm and when doing hard stops after piroutting, the heck stops pretty well.

However when performing pitch pumps, the heck starts oscillating again.

Afterwards I reduce the GAIN again.

As a next step I'm performing a speed fly. Heck starts oscillating again. So I reduce it till heck holds during speed flight.

After that, im back at the startingpoint. So around 55%. Therefore heck is also not hodling properly anymore during pitch pumps.
So as you can seen I'm running in circles.

Servo delay: 2 for GDW G55 (according to table)
Advance Piroutte Consistency: 155 (not touched so far)
Revomix: 0 (as recommended)

Hope you can help me.

Hello,
you can do two points -

You can make the servo delay higher (5) if the holding power is not good as it should (pitch pump)

After that you can turn up the Piroutte Consistency but only if the rear will stop after pirouettig immediatelly without oscillating -
Piroutte Consistency is the overall "holding power" of headlock-gain-

Regards

So this basically means, if tail is oscillating in speed flying, increase of Piroutte Consistency solves the problem?

As per tuning guide, it is the opposite.

The main problem is that when GAIN is too high that the tail is oscillating in speed flight,

so the recommendation is to have a lower gain but increasing Piroutte Consistency? How does Piroutte Consistency influences oscillation during speed flight ?

If in speedflying the tail is oscillating then only your tailgain must reduced till that stops -
Then the holding power (for example pitch pump) is then the Piroutte Consistency.

Awesome, think i got it, I will test that tonight or tomorrow early morning, depending on the weather and give a feedback here :)

Than you very much.
