Follow the manual for each FBL and you'll be alright.

I still dont understand problem. They call swashplates differently. Even each radio have different wording.
But in both Brain or Spirit there is no mistake.
Spirit was developed years before Brain exist. And our aim is to not copy anything else.

Hello franz88 !

There is no difference between Spirit or other FBL's !

For the orientation of the FBL the upper picture shows an arrow which represent the flight direction and that is what matters - both the installation situation of the FBL is based on the direction of flight and the corresponding orientation of the swashplate is decisive, otherwise there is nothing to consider or anything to be attached to a name - or in other words, what is it like orient the swashplate in the direction of flight and then choose the right one - of course you should know whether the TS is 120° or 135°, you could measure that out if necessary, if this is not explicitly explained in the manual, that's not rocket science -

if I buy a new helicopter probably a 550 to use automatic rescue and normal rescue which version is better?
Automatic rescue you have tested it during aerobatic flight?
during 3d the barometer can be affected by the air created?
there are many versions of spirit for now I configured spirit rs and gt, gt have log rescue automatic in stabi function, but it's good during 3d flight the rescue automatic of spirit gt?
or are there versions more on 3d?
you did the tests and you know which is better

Hello Franz,
I can only tell you my personal opinion about it - I really like the Spirit FBL and have equipped several helis with it - First of all I don't use Geolink at all, furthermore I don't use automatic rescue either, but as I said, there are different views here, everyone should and can do what they want - to be honest, my view is that if I want everything to be automated, then I'd rather fly a drone ;-) . I prefer to always fly on sight so that I can still assess the position of the helicopter and I prefer to activate the rescue myself by triggering a switch or a button - that's my philosophy on flying a helicopter - you can call that old-fashioned or a little backwards I can live with that, it's just my personal attitude towards it -

Regards
Matthias

Both Automatic Rescue from GT and GeoLink can work in 3D. But first your helicopter should be in normal condition. So you can use also your old Trex 500 but when you will lower vibrations.

to decrease vibrations I put a layer of bioadhesive a rigid plate and a layer of bioadhesive.
How to use in helicopters nitro.
I added an electrical clamp with heat shrink tubing to not transmit the vibrations (if it's okay, I'll leave it , otherwise I cut it with scissors)

Also for the geolink I modified the support, i consumed to let free the laser. (before I used only barometer why the laser was blocked from an obstacle)

I'm also redoing the settings.
Geometry link I hadn't.
I entered 6 degrees of cyclic but now I understand correctly.
i set 6 degrees in geometry and in ciclyc i set 8 or 10 degrees (of pitch i use 12 degrees)

You are not lowering vibration level because of Spirit, but because of helicopter. It is not safe to fly with this level at all because all parts are under big stress.
Adding more layer of double sided tape could result in bad performance because it is already too soft. So please use what is recommended in manual. Only one layer of our tape. This is recommended for any model with any engine.
Other tapes can be too soft which is not good. Each FBL unit is working well with certain tape because it has different weight. If adding more then sensors will measure how it is wobbling at the model.
For Spirit it is better to be mounted hard than soft.

Electrical clamp for GeoLink is OK, but not for Spirit unit.

Hello Franz,
one question, do you push down the FBL with a cable tie ?
If yes put this away, that helps not the FBL ! I know some finished models from horizon hobby were delivered in this way, but this is way back in time - don't do that today !

Matthias
