Hi,
my name is Markus and I got a new Spirit GT delivered yesterday to replace the aging 3GX in my Trex 700E DFC. So far, I connected and configured everything successfully except for the rescue feature. I am little bit confused by the manual.
http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... Activation Since I am using an AR8000 8-channel I don't need to fiddle around with a 6-channel setup. So I used an additional servo cable to connect aux2 to aux2 and assigned aux2 to button A on my NX8. Then in the channel assignment in the Spirit software I set aux2 to rescue normal. This seems to work just fine. I shows "rescue active" if I enable the button and also the servos are changing.
What confuses me is this sentence "For the Hold flight mode we will configure Throttle Curve too! Because we will use this one for the Rescue/Stabilisation we can set for example 90% flat curve or just same one as for other flight modes." and the whole setup on this page.
Do I really need to set the throttle curve to 90% and the gyro to -66% in HOLD even if I am using aux2 channel to enable rescue? I would prefer to leave it at 0/0 like it is to have a proper throttle hold and only activate rescue via aux2 channel.
Thx!
Best Regards,
Markus
