Hello everyone.

I recently ordered the Telem CC Cable to get data to my Jeti. I connected it to my Spirit FBL as per instructions, setup spirit as per instructions, and set my CC Edge 160HV to live link. Now, when in spirit in telem options or whatever where you select the esc you have…the cc edge 160 does NOT show up, even though it is a supported esc. I can see hobbywing, kontronic and something else, but not Castle. My jeti detects that there is telemetry data available, it just cant read it.
Castle firmware up to date, spirit firmware up to date (3.6.6 i think ?)

Am I missing a step somewhere? Should the white wire from CC go somewhere (not sure if/where hooked up) ?

This is for a Vario Alouette 2 that i bought used and rtf, so not sure how everything is wired up yet.

Hello,

you have to assign Throttle channel in the Channels window first.
Then you will be able to select Castle Telemetry in the telemetry window.

Your ESC should normally initialize and you should be able to control the motor normally.
If it will work even with selected Castle Telemetry then all should work, including telemetry.

I do have throttle channel assigned in spirit fbl. Esc initializes no problem, Everything was setup as per instructions, i can see a list of esc’s in spirit fbl, except for Castle, No Castle Creation ESC’s are in the drop down menu, (Hobbywing, kontronic etc etc, but NO Castle).

This mean that you have a very old Spirit Settings software and firmware.
The latest one is 3.4.4.

Can you verify which version do you have?
Can you take a screenshot or a photo of what do you see in the telemetry list?

On PC software, Castle is greyed out, non selectable. Through Jeti device explorer, castle is not there.

Fbl firmware is 3.4.4

Thank you very much.
Could you also take a photo from Channels window?
Or just send whole settings file and I can check all parameters.

I have the castle.
the castle is programmed and you decide how to set it.
me for example i had to set that the wire functions as a speed sensor.
In your case you have to make sure that your esc send data as requires them spirit.
you have to use the software of the castle

So i have to tell my esc to send data to/thru spirit, is that correct ?
I had live link enabled, but still no Telemetry. Do i use white wire from esc for that?

Can you clarify how to do this, or send/post a screen shot of how to do this ?

Thanks

you have two plug.
the plug at one wire from here

decide what to do.
but probably the spirit takes the data from the plug three wire from the signal wire (the white)
Therefore if you have activated link live It means that you didn't enter Telem CC cable as spirit says in this link
