These days servos are very fast and I generally believe that fast servos serve an FBL unit better.
There are discussions in other forums where people suggest that servos rated at 0.14 are too slow for modern FBLs.
Having said that, I have a heli where i use futaba 3150 with a spirit2 and it feels perfectly stable, predictable, responds to settings changes e.g. flight style, cyclic gain etc, showing that the servos can keep up with the demands of the FBL, but the heli it feels slow to stick inputs .
So is it then that the FBL unit "inertial" input to servos does not need that much speed because the desired movement is small? Or is there another reason? Anyone else with experience from current FBL with older, slow servos?
