no, the *.bin-files are up to date!
If the *.bin-file are old you get a message, but you can stay in the config-menu.
And if the *.bin-file are the reason, why work the system with the spiritRS and the same sw in a different heli?
I try all sw-versions for GTR and change the *.bin-files in the transmitter too.

in my opinion it seems like a reset, i go to the menu and the transmitter lost the connection.

for my information: After a power-down-reset the unit leaves the config mode? Right?

This is interesting.

Does it mean you also cannot connect with Spirit Settings software when this will happen?
Have you tried factory default settings (backup everything before)?

What will happen if you disconnect also all servos?

I've send you the config files.
I disconnected all servos => no effect, the issue stays.

I always get the message: " Device not connected!".

If you are looking for a undervoltage reset, no the power is stable.

" Device not connected!" is the message that appears, when the config menu is closed in the DS24.

I remember that similar problem occured when there was some odd settings in the JETI transmitter. For example dual path transmission or something like this for the profile that you are using in the radio.
So resetting profile in the radio and creating new one can be also worth to try.

Hi,
this is strange!
First i use 3way transmission for my jets but not for the Helis.
So in this case i have 1way transmission.

I created quick and dirty a new profile ans it works.

For 1 time!

After i switched to the old profile (issue remains) and switched back to the new one => the same behavior like the old profile!
I tried some things (restart spirit and transmitter...) => nothing helps!

Hello ZeXx86,
I hope you had a wicked holiday.
Today I played around with my spirit again.
Just a few minutes ago, I got a step further.
With the older Spirit.bin file in attachment, the menu is nearly as it should be.
Things, that doesn't work:
Under Stabilisierungsreiter/Funktion (see 00Stabi-reiter.jpg) three dots appear (see 00Stabi-reiter.jpg), they stand for
"Ausgewählt nach Kanal--Selected by channel". (see PC menu Stabilisierung.jpg)
If I try to change this within the radio, only the other option are now available to choose from, like Rettung, Stabilisierung, Koax etc...(see 02 example.jpg)
Then "Ausgewählt nach Kanal--Selected by channel" is no longer available.
Also other options are not available, for example how much pitch when Rettung is used.
To repair this, it is necessary to load the banks with the PC again, if they were saved before.
I hope this info helps, to solve the problem. It would be cool to use the whole functionality in the airfield.
If further infos needed, please tell me.
Spirit settings, old *.bin and images are zipped and attached.
Kind regards,
Martin

Hi Martin,

the missing settings in the menu are due to the old *bin file.

Which version of *.bin-file do you used and which sw-version do you have on the spirit?

I think Tomas can easy explain, which parameters are missing in the *.bin-file.

And what is with issue, of the "self closing" config menu?
