I have a problem that I have not been able to clear. First time Spirit user needs help please.

Jeti shows Error:invalid signature for device REX-RS, and does not show correct version on firmware in integration with errors. New Spirit GTR, first set up, never flown. These errors occurred immediately.
Jeti is DS-16 G2 - fully updated.
I have now updated GTR to v 3.4.1. I have loaded latest Spirit.bin and REX-RS.bin files (downloaded today) to Devices on Jeti. The errors are still present. All screenshots below.
(As shown in Devices folder on Jeti - Spirit.bin file 26-May-2022, REX-RS.bin file 23-Sep-2021)

How do I fix this please? Any help is very greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can you let me know what firmware version is installed in the radio?
It seems also that REX-RS.bin file is missing in the Devices directory.

Updating radio could help.

Spirit.bin from May 2022 is old in your tx and also Rex_RS.bin from 2021 is very old.

Hi Habasek, thanks for your reply. I thought that might be a problem. But I download the zip file from the website only 3 days ago. The files on my TX are the newly downloaded files.

I just checked again today in case it changed after the release of 3.4.1. No change. It is still the same files I have loaded on my TX.

The version archive 3.4.1 bin is only 1 day old. Download it and copy (rewrite) the entire unzipped contents to Devices in your radio. Update via Jetistudio is not a solution, but Jeti does not have new versions of other parties in the updates (Spirit and others).

When visiting the Spirit website, hit F5 (refresh the page in the browser) and then save the zip file to a different location, and you are sure that you have downloaded and saved the new one.

The files you have are recent. They are really from May for version 3.4.0. There is no 3.4.1 yet.

For me it look like there is some problem with communication between unit and receiver. I never saw the issue earlier.
Maybe you are using some special configuration for the receiver?

Hi Tomas.
So we have an interesting problem. Now I do not feel so bad that I could not solve it myself!

I believe the configuration of the receiver is standard. The errors have existed since I first connected it and opened the Jeti integration. I can program the receiver from the Jeti or PC. The Jeti can read the settings of the receiver. But the errors are still there. Makes me wonder if the root of this is more about the Invalid signature error reported with REX-RS.bin? interesting how the GTR firmware version reported on the Jeti is 0.4.1 and not 3.4.1

I think there are two things I can try for now.
I can do a reset to factory settings of the receiver. May be if a parameter is wrong this will help. I will let you know.
I have another GTR on order with you. Not yet shipped. I guess I will receive it sometime late next week. I can test and see if we get the same errors.

Do you have any other suggestions for me please?

maybe a year ago i was running into a similar problem (just on one of our 2 DS-12s) after a Jeti DS-12 firmware upgrade. did not get it to work whatever i tried. then i completely deleted all the Spirit integration files on the DS-12, did a reboot of the DS-12, re-copied the Spirit integration files, did another reboot of the DS-12 and it worked. no idea if it helps with your problem... but maybe it's worth a try as i does not take long :)
