... what does the accelerometer show when the heli is sitting flat on the bench and what if it is inverted? (it is <Ctrl><Alt>M in Windows i guess, on Mac it's <Option><Cmd>M in Spirit setup software).

Hello Rauglider,
you are too fast in your decission - I am shure you can calibrate the accelerometer -
One other thing is if your vibrations are too high then the rescure didn't work correctly too...

Look here maybe this thread helps:
https://www.spirit-system.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4070&start=10&hilit=accelerometer

Under search with "accelerometer" you get more threads to read -

I am sure Tomas will help you in this case too but it takes sometimes 2 days till he replys because he is very busy -

Best Regards
Matthias

Hello.
It is enough to press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+U to reset accelerometer calibration to default. Normally this should never be needed as it was factory calibrated.
It look like someone did the calibration previously but improperly.

Your Spirit unit is already many years old so it is hard to tell what was the history.
Anyway it is sure it can be resolved easily after checking all the particulars.

If the procedure above will not help then the problem is in your servo wiring. Even if your model can fly well, it does not mean your servos are plugged correctly unfortunately. It is still possible to ignore servo reversing description and find "working" way. But this will always give bad results including wrong rescue direction.

If you do not need any other help, please let us know. If you will want to resolve it, then I would like to ask few other questions.

Hello ZeXx86,

"It is enough to press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+U to reset accelerometer calibration to default."

ok, I'll try to reset the calibration.(last try, I already bought a new Spirit2 unit).Nobody played with calibration... I just had 1 big crash last time. But the unit was not wet/dirty with mud/gras.

"Your Spirit unit is already many years old so it is hard to tell what was the history."

I bought it new,from you. It was onT-rex450, Protos500, Beam 450, T-Rex 450L and now on Oxy 4.
It worked wery well until now.I really saved a lot of money thru the "rescue" function :)

Thanks !

So, I tried the CTRL+AtLT+SHIFT+U.
Was a warning window, then allok.
But that not solved the problem. Rescue goes down, as before :(
No matter, I'll sell it.
I'll buy the spirit 2 once again ;)

This mean, that your unit is not set up correctly unfortunately.
Some of basic parameter such as unit position, swashplate type, servo connection to the unit, servo reverse is not OK.
Usually there are more things wrong. In firmwares that are more recent (few years old) setup is different and all basic parameters are set differently. So there is no other possibility but some of these things are wrong.
Unit is almost certainly OK.
