Dear support, I have flashed my spirit pro and geolink unit to the latest version and got no errors. I than turned off the heli. Now a few days layer I power up the heli again. The spirit pro unit connects to the software but the geolink does not. a permanent blue flashing led occurs. I repowered the heli already several times, but always the same result. What could be wrong or what could I do to have geolink active again? thanks!

Hello,
can you describe how it is flashing? Will it ever end?
Is GeoLink connected in the correct SAT port? Have you repowered the model after flashing at least once?

Thanks for your fast response! It flashes on/off at medium speed forever. When I remove power and put it on again, it immediately starts flashing at medium speed. It is correctly connected. Did not change connections since I flew last year. I powered off after flashing. The Spirit pro gives version 3.2.1 and connects to the software. The geolink remains not connected.

It could be needed to flash GeoLink firmware again. I can't see any other reason for such behavior. Because it signalize error of sensor. This could only happen after some manipulation with the GeoLink or crash.
You will need to reflash it in the Recovery mode.

How do I reflash a geolink in recovery mode? There was no crash. heli did not fly for 3 months anymore. Was in the phase of updating and reconfiguring to start flying again

You can start the Spirit Settings and open GeoLink window, then in the Update tab select GeoLink firmware and press Flash button. Then select Recovery mode. And then after pressing OK re-plug GeoLink cable quickly. After this, flashing should start.

By no means I can get the firmware reflashed. Something must have gone seriously wrong I suppose. I remember that flashing the Spirit Pro was a matter of seconds (30 or so), while flashing the Geolink took several minutes. After flashing the Geolink module, I have powered off both devices, but did not repower them at the same time. I repowered both devices only a couple of days later. Spirit pro seems to be working correctly, but geolink was immediately blue flashing forever as soon it gets connected/gets power. I guess I'll have to send the device back to you? It has been purchased in August last year and only had a couple of low altitude (max 2m) hover flights in a T-Rex 470LM since I am still in the phase of setting up and configuring the heli (transition from BeastX FBL). Hello,
are you sure it is really connected in the right SAT port?
After pressing OK button when doing Recovery mode it is extremely important to re-plug GeoLink cable. The unit must turn LED light to ON solid. Doing it in a wrong way will not start the flashing.
We can manage remote desktop connection to your computer and then do this process with your assistence. Can you let me know when you are available?
Flashing is taking longer time normally.
