New build, new Spirit 2
Tail servo 760@333mhz
Rudder delay 5 pirouette cons 170
Tail gain down to 34%

So from first lift off had a slow wag about 3” either side of centre, been through everything mechanical over a number of days. Changed tail blades with no change, then it was suggested to go out one hole on servo arm which improved it to the point the wag has reduced to maybe 1/2-1” either side of centre, if anything the wag now appears faster.

In the early part I did the spectrum analysis which seen peaks of around 30 and below on aileron axis.

I also swapped spirit units over with another and no change, but same settings of course.

Very frustrating as the Trex and Goblin are perfect from first hover.

Tail is not smooth enough . Remove servo rod and test by hand to see if tail is buttery smooth . Oxy is known for a tight tail . I have build many Oxy Helis and even set up two for a friend . The Tail can not have and tension . Remove the tail assembly and re install carefully . SMOOTH TAIL IS THE TRICK

Well all I can add is it’s no less smooth than the Trex or Goblin, pitch slider falls under its own weight when laid on its side.

Well it’s not a Spirit problem, least I’ve determined that. It would seem there is something up with bellcrank/pitch slider...been working at it with no real joy thus far.

Another person is experiencing the exact issue as mine.
