Newbe setting up the spirit pro. When I first connected the bec to the unit servos worked and seemed to each go to an extreme position. I then went to put my receiver on line a Futaba sbus and nothing functioned as expected. Shut down and decided to read a bit more and started over. Servos now do nothing. they act dead. After lots of head scratching I plugged in a Futaba servo and it worked. Am I missing something or have my servos been damaged.

I am afraid it is very likely the servos are dead. For sure they can work with Spirit unit, but it seems there was not correct settings. The servos are quite old and are not suitable for Flybarless units actually. So if there was for example too high frequency configured, then it could end up with burning electronics. I guess they can operate at no more than 60Hz.

the settings were default value of 1520 and 50 hertz except rudder 760. The rudder works. I plugged in a generic futaba digital in and it works but has seems like limited movement.
I ordered futaba s3071 servos as replacements. Can you help me with settings for these servos so they are not destroyed? Thanks ED
