Hi,

I have a Spirit RS controlled with a Jeti DS24. When I go into the integration menu, most of the time I have some options missing such as the unit orientation settings, start wizard, and several others.

Any idea what could cause this?

Appreciate any help.

Hi,

maybe you connected something at the E2 pin, which is not correct.
Can you describe your wiring please?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. I don’t have anything on the E2 pin I don’t think. I do have a sensor connected (signal wire only) connected to the bottom pin of the EXT/RPM/E2 port. It is a little strange though, because the sensor connected is an MTAG sensor (Battery RFID system). This system works on either EX Bus, or EX (Ext). I expected it to work using Ext only, which means the telemetry values show, but it does not show in Device Explorer. However, i was surprised that it does show in Device Explorer which means its is connecting over EX Bus... In any case, I confirmed that it is not the cause because i tried with nothing connected to that port and still get the same thing.

Other connections are: Scorpion EX Bus telemetry connected to E1.

I even tried with no connections to both E1, and the EXT/RPM/E2 port.

All telemetry values show correctly. Also, all settings that are visible in the spirit integration menu do seem to work. It’s just that, maybe in 1 out of 10 times only I get the full menu.

Could you take a photo of how does it look like?

We have never heard about such issue.

It might be just because you are not in Bank 0. Then many settings are hidden, for example Mounting Position, Setup Wizard :)

Yes! I think you are right about the bank being the reason the menu is not complete. But that actually is another problem I am having. My bank switching doesn’t seem to be working m. Even though in the diagnostic page the bank switching channel is responding correctly.

The bank the shows on the main page is just the one that was selected at startup. I can change it by going into the ‘bank switching’ menu. But not through the channel.

That is actually correct behavior.
Once you will enter the integration menu, bank switching is done only in the menu.
Then when you will close the menu (properly) then it will work again by assigned switch.

That’s great, i guess I don’t have a problem in that case :) Last question, Is that the case even if i leave integration, then switch bank through the channel and go back to the integration menu? The bank does not change then either.

Yes. It will work always in the same way.

You have to always leave the integration menu by "Close menu"
