From the manual, it seems that when flaps are used with a standard spirit, they get automatically mixed with the ailerons and output to Ch1 and Ch3. Is it possible to have the flaps not mixed and output to a separate channel of the spirit? Like having ch1 for ailerons, ch3 for flaps and ch2 & 4 for elevator and rudder per the manual. This is when using a receiver witth a single line connection like the spektrum 4649T where no rx connections are available to drive servos directly. Also, Aux is to be used for throttle per the manual.

Hello,
with Spirit 2 or Spirit Pro you can assign a free channel to F: Output to AUX2. This can be used for flaps too. So flaps will be connected at the AUX2 port.

Ok so it is not possible with standard spirit which is what I already have. It would be nice to have that as a future firmware upgrade as it would allow standard spirit to be a real 6 channels system (one being used for gyro gain).
