One for Tomas mainly. A couple of recent threads has highlighted a couple of 'issues' with the Spirit Telme telemetry. I use Jeti and Telme doesn't report BEC voltage. Before the RS came along it was possible to use the Rx voltage to be a sort of BEC failure Alarm as the shown volts were quite stable and didn't dip below the threashold. Therefore a backup power device was useful. The RS Rx volts are far more accurate and drop very significantly rendering the Alarm un-useable. I have gone back to jLog to restore the real BEC volts. These really are First World problems but it would be good if Telme could report BEC volts??! Thanks

BEC voltage can be reported from ESC if you really need it. But since RS is more accurate, why you think less accurate system is more usefull?

Thanks for reply Tomas, as I tried to explain above, I use a backup power supply. The only way to know if you have a BEC failure is to have an voltage alarm set half way between the normal BEC volts and the backup power voltage. EG, bec at 6v, Backup at 5v, alarm set at 5.5v.
With a normal Rx the volts wouldn't go down to the trigger point so all was good. With the RS the volts drop way down below the set point triggering the alarm all the time. Only way to get it working with the RS is with the jLog which shows the BEC volts at source (stable)

The problem is not related to TelMe protocol at all.
With other receivers BEC voltage is sent directly from ESC. Only in case of Jeti all ESC telemetry options will not send BEC voltage because it is reported by receiver itself and very quickly.
But eventually we can add both BEC voltage and current telemetry variables. So in next update it could show up.

Ooops.....now found out that jLog can't be used to trigger a bec failure as it also fails and it's reported value freezes in Jeti Telemetry.
I'll try the morse alarm......Nope :(
