Hello,
when you are flying and return to home position is engaged it will simply return to defined position. Sticks movement will not play a role.

If you mean home programming then it will do nothing in the air. But it is not recommended anyway.

Yes i mean home programming.
You say there will be nothing in the air. I have the rth funktion on a 3way switch. Last flight i had a crash with my heli. First 2 minutes everthing was fine than the heli drifted away and geting higher. No reaction of my controllsticks. Than i activated the rth and the heli comes back. I was so nervous so i switched the rth after rhe heli comes back not to 0. i switched on home programming and the heli goes up and down. So the home programming will work during flight

There is protection that when model is flying programming is turned off. So you can flip the switch to programming position and nothing will happen, it will be identical to positon 0 - Off. So I am afraid something else or additional happened.
Do you have a flight log maybe? If home position was really reprogrammed, then you can verify it in the Map tab. Has the home position changed from the previous time?

i read out the logfile. no problems, no signal lost or anything. The problem with the return to home point is not understandable since I only activated the programming mode when the helicopter was back. out of sheer nervousness not to destroy my scaler I accidentally switched to programming mode and the helicopter moved up and down until it hit
