When you engage RTH, does the heli react at once?

Mine continues in the direction it was travelling for 1-2 seconds before starting to return. It doesn't climb either so if it was falling when RTH is engaged I'm sure it would crash.

Yes, instantly for me. It only takes-over cyclic pitch so you still have to work collective. I think you can add-in min and max height with RTH but I haven't tried that yet. To be clear, I'm only operating RTH for this, Rescue is separate.

Just to add I had to do compass calibration again after swapping the Geolink between models - I checked the 'heading' figure for north orientation on the Geolink settings first page and it was 78, not 90 +/- 4 as specified. Went through calibration again (it does take a while to capture all orientations) and it reported 90. You need a solid blue LED before liftoff on the Geolink. I was impressed how accurate the RTH is, and once there, it's rock solid except for height control.

Cheers, Andy

I think you can assign altitude hold to the same channel.

I have updated my T-Rex to 3.1 and Geo link accordingly.

When I go to RTH tab and set my transmitter to 50% switch I find a response (3) and not (4) for the RTH position update.

What ist (3) meaning and why I will not get (4)?

I have checked the manual for Geo Link but there is still (1) for RTH and (2) for home position.

You may need to play with endpoints a bit. It might not be exactly 50% in your Tx to get 4 to trigger

Please try to set -50% in your radio, very likely your channel is just reversed.
