Hello,
This is my first Spirit unit, I'm using it with a Jumper T16 on Opentx 2.3, an R-SXR receiver and Spirit software 2.8 and now 3.0. Whenever I use the integration scripts I lose all telemetry until I power cycle the unit. This of course makes configuration difficult, especially when using the battery capacity sensor to time flights.

Is there a setting that I can make to fix this or anything that can be done?

I came across this message from MSH about an update to their Brain unit while looking for answers:

"• Now with FrSky during the use of the integration there should be no "Sensor Lost" signals at all
• FrSky Integration it is now twice as fast as before (finally “acceptable”) is now more "consistent" and is no more slowed down if no sensor or 20 sensors are active and connected to the Smart.Port bus."

So it seems plausible to fix. The URL of that post is here:

Thanks for your help!
Dan

move your radio away from your heli, if they're too close together the tx will swamp the rx.

Thanks for the suggestion.

This only happens when I'm using an integration script and happens if the Spirit is next to the radio or 20 feet away.

For example- I fly a bit and decide to change a value. I autorotate to a spot about ~20ft or so away. Once landed I open the integration script I need to make adjustments. Either while using the script or as I exit I get the "Sensor lost" warning from the radio. At that point all telemetry sensors stop reporting until I unplug the battery and plug it back in.

What level of ACCST are you using? V2.0.1 had a lot of problems with Lost Sensor messages.

I use th escript on my OXY 2with 2.37 of OTX and V2.1.0 and it works perfectly = V2.0.1 was a nightmare.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to find out which version of ACCST I'm using. Do you know where to check?

Is this related to the module firmware only or is the RX firmware involved too?

Thanks!

If you go to the SD card (on my QX7 it's long press the menu key) and then go to the Firmware folder you can see what you have downloaded to receivers and the module.

this is what I have

Thanks again.
I've never updated my rxsr, it is the firmware it came with new about 2 months ago.

Is it safe to update it to 2.1 when I use a Jumper T16 and the internal multi protocol module?

Hello,
I have the same behavior. After using the Integration telemetrie is not working until I switch the spirit on again.

Spirit pro: 2.8.0
Receiver: R-XSR ACCST LBT Version:I think it is RXSR_LBT_ACCST_191112
Transmitter: Jumper T16 with openTX 16-2.3.7

Hmm. Going backwards here.

I updated my jumper to OpenTX 2.3.7. Updated the internal module to latest version. Updated my RXSR to ACCST 2.1. Set my radio to use FrSky X2 D16.

Telemetry is there and controls seem to work but when I start any of the Spirit scripts they run but do not populate any values.

Any ideas?

I found that if I flash the RXSR back to 1.9 (from FrSky website) and put my radio back to Frsky D16 I can use the script and get values but using the scripts leads to "Sensor lost".

Flashing back to 2.1 on RXSR, setting radio to FrskyX D16 and doing the fine tuning still results in scripts showing no values.

If I execute the script before powering on the Spirit I still do not get values.
