I have two Align T-REX 450Ls setup identically with standard Spirit units. Both are setup for 3D with Rescue (Acro). I updated both from V2.7.1 to V3.0.0. Rescue on one worked correctly and was backwards on the other. In other words, on the backwards one, when Rescue was activated while upright, the pitch would go negative. I restored the backwards one back to V2.7.1 and it worked correctly, and then upgraded again to V3.0.0 and it was backwards again.
If the Accelerometer Calibration, which I have not tried yet, fixes this possible upgrade issue, it probably should be described in the release notes.
Thanks Tomáš for your hard work. I do appreciate all the Spirit improvements.

Hello,
Maybe units are mounted differently on both helicopters. It is also possible some other parameter is not Ok - and it wasnt all the time. With the latest firmware it might be apparent.
What is different between these models?

The motors are different, but the Spirit configuration is identical. See the attached photo. I also attached the saved V3.0.0 profiles.
I did try the Accelerometer Calibration, which made no difference.
One interesting thing is the Rescue on the backwards one is correct with the model inverted. In other words, when upright, the rescue pitch is negative, driving the model downward, but when inverted, the rescue pitch is again negative, driving the model upward.

I also have the same problem I updated my Helis and two flew fine and rescue worked flawlessly but the third heli a Soxos 700 was also updated at the same time . When I tried the rescue it flipped the heli backwards and crashed . This heli was new with 7 flights without issue with 2.8.0 . But this 3.0.0 has me worried now . I updated all of my spirits but now I’m not sure I should have .

Hello,
when you pressed the key shortcut for Accelerometer Calibration were you able to see new window regarding calibration? This is very important otherwise nothing will happen.
The new calibration will take effect within several seconds or immediately after new powerup.
It is extremely important to check everything after each update. Even without updating, pre-flight check should avoid any potential issue as anything could go wrong with the model mechanics or electronics. If we will find nothing, it seems we might need to replace or examine/fix the unit. Of course for free.
