Tomorrow we will check the settings.
If nothing wrong will be found, then the only thing that could be wrong is part of the sensor which was not possible to see with a previous firmwares. In that case we will replace you the unit.

Hello

I reported on strange behavior from my spirit2. I also have a spirit pro. The difference is that the pro has 9-axis sensor fusion and the spirit2 has 12 axis sensor fusion. Could that affect the behavior? (apologies if this is a stupid question)

Second question. With your feedback I could confirm that the mounting of my spirit2 is correct and so are the settings. I am not a Wizz, so to be on the safe side I would like to roll back to FW 2.8.0. But it is no longer available on your website. Could you make it available again?

thanks for your help, much appreciated

Jo

Hello,

behavior on all units should be same, with Spirit 2 it should be just better. So with all units it should be significantly better than with old firmwares.

The mounting photo and settings can help us to find the problem. With current info we only know - it does not work properly.

Here you can find download links for old version, completely all versions are still available.

Thank you very much for all the details.
After communication we have found that units with inclined swashplate where even no accelerometer calibration has an effect, the sensor is partially bad.
The part of the sensor was not utilized by the previous firmwares, so the issue was not apparent.
Any unit with this error will be fixed for free by us.

The first indication that is showing there is something wrong is that swashplate is not level once rescue or stabilisation is engaged.

We are preparing update which will automatically detect if sensor is faulty and inform pilot right after startup. In that way we can prevent any similar issue. Anyway there will be likely only few units like this.
Also our testing software will make sure no similar unit could be released, even that previously it was not an issue.
