Hi, and Merry Christmas.

I received a micro Spirit for Christmas that I plan to use with a HW 25 Platinum ESC, I have bought the Telemetry cable and will be running into an FRSky R-XSR receiver (I have a similar set-up using an original Spirit and a HW 50 on my 450).

A couple of questions - when I run the Telemetry into the SAT port and the ESC / BEC into the AUX port this will give me two 6V feeds (as the ESC also outputs the selected voltage through the Telemetry port - at least it does on it's bigger brothers) - will having two 6v feeds be an issue?? If it is, should I use the feed on the Telemetry port (bigger connectors) or the ESC / BEC feed???

Thanks,
Mike.

Hi,

Telem UNI is designed to not feed any voltage to the SAT port. Otherwise this would destroy the unit.
Any way telemetry port is not recommended for powering. So if you are using wiring described in the manual there will be no issue.

OK - so I just disconnect the Positive wire on the Telem port - thanks for the quick answer

I'll re-read the manual before preceeding

Tomas - another question I'm afraid - I really don't want to damage my micro Spirit

If I connect the integration cable leaving the red lead connected to my R-XSR, will this cause a problem - with this put power through the Integration cable into the SYS port??

Thanks,
Mike

Hello,

the FrSky integration cable will not feed any voltage to the unit. The red cable from side of the receiver is used only for powering the electronics inside. But red cable from side of the unit is for communication purposes.
So with this cable you do not have to worry. The red cables must be connected from both sides in this case.

Excellent - thanks for explaining
