I am using 3 different Spirit units:
• Spirit Black with R-XSR receiver
• micro Spirit with XSR receiver
• Spirit 2 with R-XSR receiver

All have integration and telemetry enabled via FrSky Horus OpenTX. All have a FrSky integration cable connected between the SYS port and the receiver's S.Port.

If I want to connect the USB programming interface connector to my units (because I'd rather do some particular setup using computer than using integration), I need to access the SYS port. But the SYS port is occupied with integration cables.

Here's my question: Is it safe electronically for me to make a simple Y-connector so that during setup on my computer I simultaneously have the SYS port connected to my computer's USB drive and keep the FrSky integration cable connected to the SYS port? Usually I physically disconnect the FrSKy integration cable when I want to connect to a computer, but I'm wondering if it's safe to just keep it connected. If I do so then the USB programming cable would be in parallel with the FrSky integration cable and with all S.Port sensors.

I would be powering the unit with my HobbyWing bulit-in ESC via Aux or Aux 1 port.
