My old trusty Gaui X3 for some reason will not initialize when I power it up. It last flew a few weeks back and did great. This weekend - no go ??
When I power it up the swash does a 5 or 6 time up and down movement ending in the "up" position, but that is it. When I check the Logs using the BT app, I see normal indications. Nothing showing like a large warning.
The channels screen in the app does not show any stick movements on the TX.
What is this up and down swash dance trying to tell me?
I'm on the current or near current FW release.
Thanks for any input and thoughts.

Hello,
this mean that when you are powering up the model with Rescue engaged. Trying to fly or lift off with Rescue engaged will cause loss of control since the model will just ascend. This mean that you have to just flip the switch that you have programmed for Rescue engagement.
The behavior is described in the manual.

Double checked everything, including making sure Rescue was not enabled. It was not.
All that was left to try was re-binding - which fixed the issue. Odd it lost it's bind, but whatever - all is good now.

Old DX8 using two sats.
Rescue has been assigned to my separate channel 8 since this feature was created. The TX has trainer button assigned to that channel also so it's only active when the momentary button is held down.
Need to test, but maybe the dance happens any time the TX is not talking to the spirit. Like when the wrong model is enabled in the TX and power is applied to a different heli.

in case of wrong model there is no communication between the TX and RX because spektrum have "model match" technology
