Having just received my first Spirit FBL, I'm trying to set it up to work on my Trex 450. I'm using Jeti radio and have managed to get it all set up using a SAT2 receiver in PPM mode - although I haven't flown it yet, all seems to work OK. I have tried putting the receiver into EX bus mode, connecting using the Jeti cable and changing the Spirit's setting to reflect this, but the Spirit just doesn't see the receiver. Does the receiver firmware need to be a certain version for it to work? The transmitter is fully up to date and has 'Spirit.bin' installed.
Thanks for any help or suggestions. Gordon

Hello,
you have to use the EXT port for EX BUS protocol. Then it should just work. Also please make sure that the receiver is really set for EX BUS output since by default it is configured to a different protocol.

OK, thanks, that fixed it! I hadn't realised that when you set the receiver output from PPM to EX Bus, that the output was on the 'other' port.
