Hi all,

I want to configure my spirit for 4 degrees pitch in the middle of the stick, Pitch max. 10 degrees and pitch min. -2 degrees, because
i do not fly 3D but Scale.
At stick center then the servo arms are perpendicular to the linkages
According to the instructions, 0 degrees and pitch max. and min. then set + -10 degrees
What do I have to do to configure the system according to my ideas?
Or is not that possible?

An answer would be very nice

Greetings
Dirk

you just need to use the pitch curve on your TX :)

Following problem: The Spirit requires 0 ° pitch at the middle of the stick.

Conceivable and tried variants:

Variant A:
1) normal setup with 0 ° in the middle of the stick
2) in the transmitter pitch curve so that it runs on the leaves from -2 ° down to 4 ° center and 10 ° above.

BUT: clearly turned from the middle servos with little reserve for cyclic in the upper area.

Variant B:
Pitch at middle of signal mechanically to 4 °: Servo paths are ideal for this head-TS combination. Below a low negative pitch, enough up to 10 ° max. The geometry of the servo lever positions, the center levers in each case, fits with the 4 ° hover pitch in the center of the billet.

BUT: The system is lied, it believes 0 ° at a true 4 °.

What did your Scaleflighters do, on this point?
I hope I have formulated my problem reasonably comprehensible.

teach to spirit the 0° at middle of stick with all ciclic servos at 90°
thats all :-)

then you can play your pitch curve how you want,
you can even move the 0° pitch point away from middle stick

If you use the SOKO tool for the head adjustment you can have any pitch value at the "Zero Pitch" position you want.

This tool is assembled to one blade holder and you turn the head and align the upper link with each servo link. Usually you adjust "0" pitch with each slider, but you can also adjust +4°. The upper reading of the SOKO tool reads always the true angle of the blade.
Repeat the procedure with the second blade holder.

It is important to have 0° pitch when the Diagnostic tab shows you 0% for the Pitch.
Then you can set any pitch curve in your radio.
