Hi, I come from a fixed wing background and I use rx redundancy in almost all my models primarily using the RB-10 and now the RB-20. I treat as primary receiver a full range sbus capable receiver with sbus and telemetry capability (traditionally I tend to use X8R/X6R) and use an XM+ as a secondary receiver that has no telemetry output apart form rssi.
Now I could take the same apparatus (X6R & XM+ & RB-10) take the cases off and fit it on my Trex 450 but its still a bit bulky. However since I bought a spirit pro, that has the two side inputs for the spectrum satellite receivers, I was wondering whether it be possible to add the functionality in the firmware and allow people using sbus protocol to plug a second receiver with no telemetry capability onto the secondary input port? Cheers

Hi,
I am afraid this would be not possible. There are at least two technical issues that will not allow this. For T-Rex 450 or bigger models it is generally fine to use X4R-SB or similar receiver. But yes, redundancy is always better.
