i have a question. I want to activate Geolink with Position and Altitude Hold with the Funktion Rescure (Normal). Is that possible? The Manual say Coaxial Funktion.

Where could be Problems? I want the Position and Alttitude Hold as Rescue with Skids Down.

If you activate a Geolink funktion by stabi funkion (rescue normal) the heli will climb. So use another stabi funktion ( coaxial ) or use activation by geolink channel.

Mounting under boom is possible, but it will have some impact on signal quality.
You could use a third party mounting solution for GPS modules that can hold it above the push rod - this would be the best.

Here is another mounting solution. Will there be problems with the compass because of the 4 M3 Bolts ?

Any conductive parts, especially so close to the GeoLink from the bottom can cause a problem. If it is conductive, it could alter magnetic fields. Especially if it is magnetic.
So I recommend to use our mounting solution or to use a plastic parts or foams.

Cables longer than 50cm are also not recommended. In maybe 2 weeks we will add optional longer cables to our eshop.

Hi grobjo. I think the bracket looks great. Can you not replace the metal bolts with nylon bolts then it would be perfect. Where can you buy them?
Cheers

Hello, I have a question about the geolink function Return to Home in combination with Altitude Hold.

Does the altitude have to be programmed like the home position at RTH?

Would it not be possible to select different Stabi Modes for the individual functions of the geolink. e.g. RTH> Coax Mode and Altitude Limit> Rescue (Normal)?

GeoLink Halter und Heckrohr Carbon?

1.1 Where to mount

GeoLink module should be mounted ideally at the TAIL BOOM. This is usually the best position for achieving optimal performance. Optimal position should meet the following:

It is at least 5cm far from a rigid conductive parts such as carbon frame or bolts
