The manual specifies that the Geo-Link must be mounted perfectly horizontally, On models like the 470L that have a forward rake when sitting on the ground, the tail boom is not horizontal. It is however horizontal while flying, will this create any issues?

Unfortunately it is necessary to mount the GeoLink so that it is parallel with rotor blades or perpendicular to the main shaft. It will affect RTH, Geo-fence and Position Hold.
You can find the exact angle with help of protractor in the GeoLink settings window.

The rake will not affect performance. Prop up the front skids to get the FBL level, then level the Geolink to the FBL during setup. As long as Geolink is "parallel" to FBL, it will fly correctly. Heli's with boom covers that aren't parallel to the FBL are more problematic and will require some shimming. Dan
