Hi,

great news, however...
µSpirit ist designed for helis up to 250 Class?!? Does it make sense to mount such a big module on such a small helicopter?!?
I wished there was a solution for my 5 red & black Spirits. I am not willing to buy 5 new Pros just for GPS and have 5 unused red & black Spirits left...
My µSpirit is in a too small heli to mount that module on it.
So right now I can just use GPS on my 550 heli with its Spirit Pro.

Nevertheless I do not want to have any other FBL system on my helis than Spirit.

Best regards,
Alexander

We are testing the module with Oxy 2 and as far as we know there is zero problems flying 3D and having this module mounted. Especially if one is beginner, it is not a problem.
Or you can just remove canopy and weight is nearly same :)

Well, the module is the smallest module available for all helicopters. All others are bigger. So we think it is quite small actually :-B
Actual performance is directly proportional to the size of antenna and PCB, so by making it smaller the performance goes down significantly - no way for us.

Maybe it is the smallest module and for trainers an bigger helis it is fine for sure.
My µSpirit is used in a small semi scale heli where I cannot remove a canopy nor mount the module on the tail boom, so no chance in this case.

But much more important for me: May there be a chance to adapt the GPS module to the red & black Spirits some when in the future? Then I would order for sure!

Best regards,
Alexander

We believe we can add support also for small Spirit units.

If using telemetry do we give up using the secondary port for a Sat to use the GPS ?
Or do we use a y cable ?

We are revealing the GeoLink!
It is backordered. I can't order. Any mounting accessories?

Never mind. Early May it is.
