I have a buddy that is thinking about moving to Spirit now that I have since I help him setup a lot of his stuff. I have read several times that it is no problem flying with Spirit in Stabilization Normal, but he is currently most comfortable on his Blades 230s and I wanted to clarify if you can leave it in Stabilization Normal from power up to power down (ie, takeoff & land like Blade SAFE).

Hello,
yes, you can fly safely in this mode all the time. Maybe even better could be the Coaxial mode. Both can be used for the whole flight.
