Could we get an option to enable vibration logging in the software that turns it on for all three axis, even if its just for the next flight?
Like a check box that say "Log vibrations on next flight" or something? I am using all 8 channels right now on my DX8 and while I am thinking of going up to the DX9, that would still only let me toggle logging 1 axis. Alternatively, could you allow a single channel to switch on logging for all three axis? I tried and got a channel collision warning. My helis are tuned and flying great & output % is not bad but it would be nice to get the analyzer going for all axis in the air.
With the logging in the TX, I haven't really missed anything when I switched from Brain2, except the vibration analysis.

Hello,
it may be possible, but with much lower resolution of the vibration analysis. But there are other issues which will lead to worsening flight characteristics because we are using as much as possible out of the sensors. For measuring vibrations it is switched to other mode which will impact also the flight behavior. So measuring all the time is not good idea from our point of view. On the other hand current method allows measurement resolutions far higher than a competition.
Well, in helicopters to find the biggest vibrations it is usually enough to measure Y axis as there are the biggest peaks. And usually it is enough to perform the measurement just once during hovering with the highest headspeed. But measurement on the bench can give you good information as well. For this you really do not have to buy new transmitter.
You can do the measurement at the point you wish and then view it. Taking whole flight will give you approximately 95% unusable data and rest are the peaks similar to hovering, especially if you are 3D pilot. When doing a maneuvers all rotating parts are loaded inequally. But if there will be nothing more important we can implement it.
