What is the correct process to get symmetrical pitch, eg. +12 -12° collective.

I'm currently removing the head, adjusting links, checking swash is level, fitting head, checking pitch. Repeat.
It's a pain.

Why not allow a setting in software like vbar.

Hello,

this procedure is not correct.
It can be always all done in the first try.

Please check this page:

The online manual in your link states to move all 3 sub-trims the same amount.

Can you add slider control to do this called 'pitch adjust', please?

Would make it very much easier to adjust!

No no, subtrims will be very likely different. There you are not adjusting them the same amount.

From your manual:

"Now you can untick the Subtrim (tuning) option and verify if Positive and Negative angles between main blades are equal. If not, then open the Servos/Servo Travel Correctionwindow and move with a sliders (usually it is enough to move with all 3 values by the same amount). If collective pitch is a higher at one side, move the pitch stick to that side (the lowest or the highest position). Then decrease 3 sliders equally to get equal angle as in the opposite direction. When done correctly, you should get precise angles in both directions."

Please add a new slider (called 'pitch adjust') to move all 3 sliders by the same amount, as per your manual.

Yes, you are reading correctly. But these sliders are not Subtrims.
These sliders are configuring correction factor for each servos individually.
In some cases this factor is different so if it would be like in some other units you will be unable to correct for example different servo travel for particular servo (This circumstance can occur even with expensive servos).

Adding a buttons (up/down) that are moving with all sliders at the same time is possible.

My mistake. I was referring to the Servo tab, "sub-trim (tuning)" sliders. I use these to set the servo arms to 90°, and was trying to use these to also correct the pitch symmetry.

I have found the "Servo travel correction -> Setup" window and will try to use these sliders to correct the unsymmetrical pitch.

I think a tick box to allow these sliders to all move at the same rate would be useful, otherwise i will have to remove the head and check the swash again (although i may do this anyway), so will you be adding a check box to allow this in the next version?

As a side note: I find sliders hard to use and are not easy to set small increments when sliding. Clicking and using arrow keys on keyboard is easier.
Maybe it would be better to remove slider controls and replace with UP / DOWN arrows and a user entered value, like most of the "Advanced" Tab settings?

Great.
Actually you can use arrows and other keys for any parameter to set them precisely.
Yes, tick box is good idea!

Here you can see which keys can be used:

This feature didn't appear in the latest update. Are you still planning on adding it?
