I use Spirit units in all my helicopters but am going to start flying planes again at the request of my 6 year old son and feel like a complete newb again (not flown planes for 20 years). I would like to put a Spirit Aero in but was wondering how you can use spectrum sats instead of a receiver. Specifically, is it possible to have throttle, aileron, elevator, rudder, flaps and gain/stabi with an Aero and a DX6e? Are there enough servo ports because the Aero seems to use 2 for ailerons so where would the flaps, throttle and BEC input go?
Thanks for your help.

The Spirit will perform the flap function. You assign flaps to a channel during setup and then set up a knob/switch in the tx to transmit on that channel.

To elaborate on the original question:
Obviously you would have use a Y-Cable for the ailerons, but would you plug the flaps or retracts into CH3 where the second aileron normally goes?
Thanks!
