I finished yesterday my build.
Motor: Lynx EOX 1611 (5500kV) w/11T pinion ESC: HW FlyFun 30A V4 (BEC 2A/5V) FBL: uSpirit 2.4.1 Cyclic: Lynx DS-895-HV Alu Case 0.06 @ 4.5V 20x8x19 JST Tail: E-flite EFLRDS76T 0.03@4.8V Batteries: Tattu 1050mAh 3S 75C 73x36x17 XT60 97g Receiver: Spektrum Satellite x1 Main blades: Stock 190mm black Tail blades: Stock 38mm black
The BEC Test fails consistently, well, does not "officially" fail, but the light on the Spektrum satellite goes off, and the Log shows "Power Voltage is low" and sometimes "Receiver Signal Lost". The Spirit does not restart, though. But if I run the collective up and down seriously for a few seconds, even out of the BEC Tester, the signal is clearly lost, since it stops responding for a split second.
What could it be?
To me it looks like everything runs / turns smooth, the links move freely in the balls, the swash moves freely up and down (even used some 3-flow)...
The ESC gets already warm though.
Help!
(I'd like to maiden!)

The BEC is not able to provide enough current in the peaks, so the voltage is dropping under 2.9V which is too low for satellite. So it is on the edge. It will work probably well in normal flight, but it is really on the edge. Adding a small capacitor e.g. to the RUD will solve the issue completely. But this setup is working for others, so hopefully it is not a big problem in the real flight.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking, it's such a standrd Oxy 2 setup!
I have a Spektrum capacitor laying around, I'll try it and find soace for it.
Meanwhile... other uSpirit users? Any reallife experience yet?

Here we have Talon 25 and no issue with the same servos.

Tried with the capacitor (a pretty big Spektrum one I had in the Goblin 500) and... bingo, no problems at all. I already found space for it, and ready for tomorrow's maiden.
Thanks Spirit guys!
(I feel bad writing "Tomáš" since the writing styles are different at times so it's for sure different guys - a Team job. But the spirit (pardon, the Spirit) is the same - big kudos)
