If you can tell me what is the ESC model, I can check the manual of the ESC to check what the beep count does mean.
Also there could be important parameters.

Well, AS3X is preconfigured just for this helicopter, while uSpirit can work on anything. So some things must set to work properly. Unfortunately it is not possible to test each helicopter directly in our company, but we will try to make presets as close as possible so soon it could work out of the box.

It is really hard to help you as I dont understand what it actually is doing or not doing. Maybe very short video could help.
The rudder motor must always respond to the movement in yaw axis (remember that Throttle hold should be disengaged).

So to make sure I would like to ask you:
1. Is the main motor reacting to the Throttle correctly?
2. Were you able to set Rudder End-points?

Yes main rotor is responding correctly. I tried setting rudder endpoints but can't seem to get them work as you described.

Good. please try to set the end-points in other way then I have described - left limit to be a full power of the rudder motor, right limit fully closed.
There is no more ways how it could be configured. So I believe this will be the correct.

It's a stock ESC for the Blade 230 BLH1517 there is no manual on line and I spoke with Horizion tech support and they have no specific specs on the ESC.

Ok I'll try it like that, fully closed meaning off ?

Yes, it will be value when the motor will be not spinning.

Ok was able to set rudder end points with your second method.
Unfortunately I broke my last tail rotor blade. So it's off to the hobby shop for more.
I'll see what happens on spool up and let you know the out come tomorrow.

Tomas,
Was able to spool it up and hover It's not very stable and has a bad tail wag.
Tried gyro gain from 40% to 80 % with no affect, I'll take a look at vibrations see if anything shows up.
2)Tail motor is still active when in Throttle Hold/Throttle Cut.
3)Channel 7 does not function in diagnostic tab when bound with DSMX but does when bound to DSM2 using the same radio (DX9) and model and same DSMX satellite.

Great :)
Please set Advanced/Pirouette Consistency to the lowest possible value. This should improve the tail.

Regarding main motor decrease Throttle Range - Min. little bit more - maybe to 950us. Then it should be OK.
Without ESC (re)calibration we are only guessing the values, so this is the reason why it takes the time.

Made those 2 setting changes Tail is better, best around 50% gain. Stills seems unstable in Normal Stabi. with Stick Priority at 1, going to try it at 0. What about Cyclic gain at 55% should I try 60% ?

What servos are in the model? If they are coreless increasing frequency can improve it a lot.
Make sure that Geometry 6° parameter is correctly configured - this will affect the stability a lot too.

If tail is still not good, you may try to use Normal gyro mode instead of Head Lock - there it will not hold the position that well (but can be fixed by using Subtrim CH4). Instead it should fix tail hunting quite well.
If flying in stabilisation, you can use Stabilisation (Scale) instead of (Normal) which will bring the tail to Normal mode too. But be carefull because of the tail could drift without Subtrim settings.
But if tail is working well, I recommend to stay in Head-Lock.
