OK Thanks for the info. I had bought Lynx adapters and the Red and Black wires ARE switched at the JST connector so I should be good go.
As soon as US Postal system gets around to delivering mine

Tomas,

Just out of curiosity; what is the intended purpose of the adapter cable that has the Futaba connector with female socket terminals?

Yes, same as when you are using servo for rudder.
You only have to set Motor as the Rudder control type in the Wizard.

Tomáš, I think we all need a sort of diagram on the online manual to make sure these things are clear... I will receive my uSpirit tomorrow, and I bought the Lynx adapters... I wanna make sure they are fine, but I need a visual reference ("the closest pin" and "the last pin" do not mean much to me).

I was planning to use them for the tail servo and the USB adapter, now I am not sure...

I hope that this will help.
Pin layout is same with for example uBrain and other units that are using JST-ZH connectors.
So once you will use our or compatible adaptors, it can't be connected wrongly.
Also no modification for Spirit USB interface or other peripherals is needed.
