I have a couple questions that I could not find the answer to when using the search.

What I'm working with:

- Spirit Pro (ver. 2.2.0)
- T-Rex 500 clone w/torque tube tail.
- Two (2) Spektrum Satellites.
- Stand alone BEC and RX battery.
- Spektrum 9350 RX if needed.
- Scale fuselage with retractable gear.

1). Is there a spare port on the Spirit Pro that I can use to run my retracts so I don't need to use my PWM receiver?

2). Can I use more than one of the 3M mounting tape pads to mount the Spirit Pro?

Regarding question #2:

If the answer to #1 is yes, then I will have a clearance issue with the wires for the satellites and will either need to raise the Spirit Pro, or trim the side plates a little so the wires are not pinched. It appears that using two of the mounting pads will give me that clearance.

Thanks,

Jon...

Hello,

1) Yes, you can use the CH0 port.
In the General/Channels select in the right part of the window function called "F: Output to CH0" and select a channel that you want to use for this purpose.
Then you have a full control over the servo.

2) Yes, but this will make the unit wobbly, so not too recommended. The pad is choosen by us so that it will hold the unit as hard as possible with respect to its weight. Another option is to get harder tape. There are tapes that are even 5mm high and are hard.

Tomas,

1). Perfect, that will make the install a lot easier by not having to use a separate RX for the retracts.

2). Sounds like the best solution is to trim a couple mm off the side plates where the wires rub and use the stuff you provide. So I'll do that.

Thanks,

Jon...
